The 2017 Taddington Produce Show will be held on Sunday 3 September in Taddington Village Institute (Main Street, Taddington, SK17 9UD).

The doors will open to welcome visitors at 2pm, when you can view the display of produce which will include flowers, vegetables, cakes, bread, preserves, handicrafts, artwork & photography.

Taddington made cakes and drinks will be served throughout the afternoon, before the presentations, raffle and auction. Entry to the Produce Show is free and free off road parking is available. The raffle is generously supported by local businesses with some amazing prizes! Everybody is welcome.

Entries from residents of Taddington and neighbouring villages can be brought to the Institute between 9:30 to 11.15 in the morning.

Proceeds from the Show will be put towards enhancing the village environment with seasonal flower displays.

Everyone is invited to the Taddington Beer Festival at the Queens Arms on Main Street, Taddington. It will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend, from 26th to 28th August.

“Taddy’s Got Talent” – will be hosted by Neil Walsh from 20:00 on Friday 25th. It’s open to everyone, so if you want to sing, tell a joke, have a go on the karaoke, recite a poem etc then come along on Friday and have a go.

Martin Ison will be “on stage” from 21:00 on Saturday 26th, singing a wide variety of songs to suit everyone.

Food – hot pork baps, burgers etc – will be available all weekend.

Bouncy Castle – will be available all weekend.

TADDINGTON LANES RACE Tuesday 22nd August – 7pm

The Lanes Race will be held as usual on the Tuesday of Wells Week.
Non-runners are very welcome as spectators and also to have some food,
which will be available after the race has started.

Approximately 4 miles of hilly asphalt and green lanes.

Enter on the night, minimum age 13

7pm start at the Bramwell Memorial Institute Taddington

A WARM WELCOME

Every year, the small Peak District village of Taddington in Derbyshire is pleased to welcome people from all over the world to its Well Dressing and Flower Festival.

This year’s theme is “A Village for all seasons“.

There are events throughout the week, catering for a wide range of ages.

Thanks to an award from the lottery fund, “Awards for All”, we have a new Tea and Cake marquee this year.
