A WARM WELCOME
Every year, the small Peak District village of Taddington in Derbyshire is pleased to welcome people from all over the world to its Well Dressing and Flower Festival.
This year’s theme is “Our Literary Heritage” celebrating the anniversaries of William Shakespeare, Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl.
There are events throughout the week, catering for a wide range of ages.
More info can be found here.
Fibre broadband now available!
Some of you might have noticed that the BT cabinet on School Lane now has a poster of the “Digital Derbyshire Better Faster Broadband” on it.
This means that fibre broadband has finally arrived in Taddington and can be ordered from most internet providers. Maximum speeds are 80Mbps download and 20Mbps upload for the lucky ones close to the cabinet, while people further away can still enjoy up to 5x faster download and 16x faster upload speeds.
