Thai Cave Rescue

Tuesday 20th Feb 7:15 for 7:30 start

A talk on the Thai Cave Rescue by Bill Whitehouse – an insider account of the rescue that gripped the world. We all knew it was happening but most of us didn’t realise that it was being coordinated from just a couple of miles away in Tideswell. At the time, Bill Whitehouse was the Vice Chair of the British Cave Rescue Council and found himself helping to orchestrate the international response. Bill is an excellent speaker and, by all accounts, his account is spellbinding. Not to be missed!
£5 on the door – a contribution will be made to Derbyshire Cave Rescue.

Christmas Tree Light Up

Saturday 9th December at 6pm @ the entrance to Taddington church

There will be mulled wine, mince pies and soft drinks for the little ones – just throw a donation in the bucket – and carol singing around the tree.
We will also be collecting for the food bank, so any donations will be greatly appreciated. These can either be dropped off with me or brought on the night. Please bring some pennies as we want to raise money for the church and school. I have left a tub of wooden decorations outside my front door for anyone who would like to decorate their own (Laurel House next door to the Queens).
